Now we have completed our music video, We are all moving onto evualations. We will still share idea's as a group, however the this part of the work will be more indivual. Here is my plan about how I want to work my evaluation.
The questions we have to awnser include :
Q1) In what ways does your media product use, develop or challenge forms and conventions of real media products?
Q2)How effective is the combination of your main product and ancillary texts?
Q3)What have you learned from your audience feedback?
Q4)How did you use media technologies in the construction and research, planning and evaluation stages?
For Q1 I will be taking screenshots of effective shots from our music video. I will then write about them, describing how it represents real life media. I have decided the screen shot areas I will use will be: Narrative, Lryics and visuals, visuals and song, audience, mise en scene, camera, presentation of new artist, editing, chacaracters, genre and previous analyse. I will find relevant examples and then talk about them in connection with real life media.
For Q2 we will be working more as a group. We will be doing a voice over discussion over the video, talking about if we have been sucessfull with the main tasks. We will then incorperate an interview like section, where as a group we will ask questions and devolp awnsers together, as we all had a main focus.
Q3 will be mainly a questionaire and a screening of the video. We wrote this together, however wrote up the results and plan on recording some of the audince too. We will also be posting our video up on youtube asking for responses and constructive cristism.
Finally for question 4 I have a few ideas. The orginal plan was to write this question up, however trying to be as creative as possible I then thought about doing a powerpoint presentation with images etc. And then a third choice is a interview, however I wouldnt feel confident talking face to face with a camera so I am not sure how I will do this question yet.
